New Thought is an evolution in spiritual perspective and concepts that bubbled up in the United States in the early 1800s. It pulls from eclectic, non-dogmatic spiritual pathways and shares a set of beliefs including metaphysics, positive thinking, personal empowerment, healing, and creative visualization. Unity is one of the major pathways of New Thought spirituality. In this course we will delve into the history and principle concepts, philosophies and teachings of New Thought.
